Bugeye
Both of the carb spacers for my l20 are warped pretty bad, bad enough when i lay them flat you can see it, does anybody have a couple they can spare? this is causing a huge vacuum leak and I cant get my truck to idle and its starting to piss me off Link to comment
twindragon6
I too have the same problem and am also looking for a spacer that will work... The bolt pattern is not the same as a Rochester or Holley. The Rochester is close but several mm off at the holes. These gaskets will seal with it (from Kragen). http://shop.oreillyauto.com/ProductDetail.aspx?MfrCode=VIC&MfrPartNumber=G31154 I will try to find a part number from Nissan. datsunaholic
Geez, I just bought a couple at the dealer. Don't have the part number offhand, but they come with the gaskets pre-glued on. Link to comment
twindragon6
Here is the Nissan part number 16174-o5wo2. also 80306 on the package not sure if that's relevant. It's called a "Carburetor Insulator". Also if you plan on making your own gasket I'd go with some premium Fel-Pro rubberized fiber sheet or rubberized cellulose and try and keep it neat. Don't rush making one or it wont fit right and will leak. Edited September 25, 2009 by twindragon6 Link to comment
