tdskip
Hi - making a push to get all these hose lines squared away on the SR20DE. I believe this is to de-ice the throttle assembly but as I live in SoCal and the car won't have a heater so if I need this I am in a heap of worse trouble anyway. Can I Think I can bypass this? To bypass the heater I think I need to loop these two together? Thanks again! (BTW - started looking on Craiglist at old Datsuns now...) Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Cap those red arrows off. The coolant lines on throttle body to to help warm the air going through up. Disconnecting those could create driveability/idle air issues since you will be having a hot spot. I'm not certain how the SR does that but I had a Maxima/VQ30 that a lot if it's warmed up decisions relied on that part being functional. Quote Link to comment
tdskip
Thanks - will cap those but run the lines on the throttle part. Appreciate the help! Quote Link to comment
