sdsurf
I was running my truck out of a gas can to time it and it was going strong. I got the fuel line from the tank fixed and now it isn't so good. Would the timing need to be adjusted because of the longer fuel run? or maybe bad gas... Quote Link to comment
Cuts metal like mad
 fuel line length and timing are not interconnected. sounds like bad gas, or maybe a clogged filter. Quote Link to comment
Nicholas7620
would intermittently get stuck in the open position. My engine would die and carbueretor would fill with gas. I changed the fuel filter. I checked the fuel line return to the gas tank and found gunk coming out of the pin hole, I kept cleaning the pin hole and continually checking the pin hole and removing any new gunk until all the gunk was gone. It took almost three weeks of continual checking. It doesn't take much gunk, I got maybe 1/16th of a teaspoon of total gunk out I suspect the gunk came from my fuel pump. I have an in line filter (not yet installed) to filter gas coming out of the fuel pump too. Good luck Quote Link to comment
