Java&Whiskey
Anybody got some tips on how to remove the secondary fuel filter (the big one)? Everywhere I've read is should to unscrew relatively easily but mine seems to be fused. I've tried using a oil filter wrench but that that bent the outer metal cover. I removed the banjo bolts and fuel lines from it completely and tried to to put in vice and wrench it free but that outer metal cover is so flimsy its just keeps bending. I guess I can cut the cover off I've seen plenty of people with their filters exposed. Will this be a problem? Also does anybody know the part number for the top part that the filter screws into and where the banjo bolts go? I'm thinking at this point it might be better to just order a new one. datzenmike
You mean the one on the bottom of the electric fuel pump????? Don't mess with that or you'll be buying a new one. Quote Link to comment
