Pericles757
I've got a 1986.5 D21 Truck with the Z24i Motor. 288k miles Starting it cold it runs really fast. It does the rocket-ship thing (i'm guessing around 3.5-4k RPM, I have no tach) But the moment it's about half-warm, it drops right down and runs awesome. Ireally want to get this ironed out. I have never owned anything this old so i havent ever had to do TBI adjustments before. I just changed out all spark plugs and wires if that helps. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The first thing i would do is perform a self diagnosis of the ECU and it will display any faults that are stored. Quote Link to comment
