Rushin510
I looked around, but didn't find the answer. So, if this has been asked 100 times, please forgive me. This is the clutch out of my 72 510 with a modified L16 engine. The clutch says "Atsugi, MF200K, 30210, 20111BX, F&S" on it. I tried to Google combinations of those and all I came up with was a Wiki about Datsun Roadster clutches. The plate says ASCO on it. Can someone please tell me if this is a proper clutch for my 510 and if, by looking at it, it is in working condition? It's been 17 years since I've driven the car, so I can't remember how it performed, and I don't know what to look for as far as wear. Thanks for any info. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It's not the proper stock clutch and pressure plate... but it will work. 30210-20111 (edit) is the part number for the legendary Roadster pressure plate. The stock L16 PP is 350 Kg or 744 pounds of clamping force. The Roadster PP is 650 Kg or 1435 pounds of clamp. Nice upgrade!!! Well the paint isn't blistered off the PP and the disc surface looks ok. Just needs to be scuffed with 220 grit to polish the rust off. The clutch disc is worn but usable and not burnt up. Or a new one is only $50. Quote Link to comment
Rushin510
So, it's a roadster clutch? I'm sorry, I'm a little confused. My numbers are 30210, 20111 and you said the roadster is 30210-20110. 30210-20111 (edit) is the part number for the legendary Roadster pressure plate. Pardon my newb-ness. Thank you for the help. I appreciate it. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Finger trouble. 30210-20110 30210-20111 both are Roadster PPs. Quote Link to comment
