What recommended lsd diff/ratio for F20c in 510?

Check with S2000 daily driver track day racers before deciding that shorter gearing will reduce acceleration. Remember that redline is 9000 rpm vastly different from most engines swapped into a 510.

 

By the way all transmissions have gear reduction in the transmission.

AP1 has an additional 1.160:1 gear reduction in the box giving a effective final drive of 4.756 with 4.10 rear end. 

 

 

AP2 box has a 1.208 reduction with 0.763 6th gear turning ~3800rpm at 70mph with stock 4.10 and 235-50-16's.

And the S2000 still accelerates faster with 4.6 gears.

 

If you want less than the most performance, 4.3 or 4.1 are good compromise gears to increase fuel economy. Just depends on what the OP wants.

You also need to factor in the tire size. First S2000 used a 50-series tire of 24.9" diameter.

 

Example

510 fitted with 195/50R15 - 22.7" diameter

 

4.625 x 1.16 x 22.7 / 24.9 = 4.891
