Zeusimo
Does Anyone Know What The Secondary Idle Jet's Specific Function Is? I've Searched Different Websites And Nobody Messes With It I Have A Slight Flat Spot Around 2300RPM My Idle Jet Is 65 And 50 AFR Is 14.7@800RPM I Can Go From 45 To 65 Secondary And The AFR Shows The Same Quote Link to comment

TENDRIL
it helps to add more fuel while the secondary butterfly is starting to add more air. i shouldn't really affect anything once the mains take over ... Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
i shouldn't really affect anything .... if the main jets are the correct size, instead of incorrect but with smaller air jets for correction. Then you still get the same a/f ratio, but transitions don't work right. In other words: * large jet + small air correction jet = 14:1 * appropriate jet + air correction jet = 14:1 * small jet + large air correction jet = 14:1 But only one combo is optimum.
