Amberpawn
Evenin' folks Came into my 1981 Datsun B210 Wagon, North American, not long ago; my girlfriend's brother passed him on in a time of need as was done for him. He's a good car, name of Barney... why Barney? Well that's what's on his envelope that's been passed through the owners and the years, so while there are some fine ladies out there, I respect Barney's life choices. Made a good match for Betty, though, his current white truck. Down to business though: His combination switch has a short in it, if the switch is left alone it'll fall just a hair and his high beams will click on, which is a pain during the day when it's hard to notice or at night when it sucks the battery dry. I'm looking for a replacement part for it, but can't seem to find anything that matches exactly what I'm looking for as far as compatibility between years and models or what the part number is. First rodeo as far as actual maintenance, didn't trust myself to pop the air filter and replace the carb, but looks to be that it shouldn't be too rough on this bit and I have the sage wisdom of a retired life long mechanic watching over my shoulder, he just needs a good set of hands that I'll be providing. In addition: If anyone happens to have the part sitting and available... also interested in purchasing. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
By "combination switch" do you mean the Turn Signal/Wiper combo switch? The only thing that interchanges is 1979-1982 Datsun 210. B210: 1974-1978 B310: 1979-1982 marketed as "210" The 210 is very different from the B210. Quote Link to comment

roboskittle
My switch does the same thing I just leave it forward when the lights are off to prevent battery drain. Quote Link to comment
