just got a datsun 210 1971. 

motor isnt running. basically want to know what motors are compatible to swap (with trannys and such ) 

first ever project.

A '71 would be a 1200 Datsun unless you have the wrong year marked down. The 210 was from '79-81/'82.

 

Either way it will have an A series motor. I should imaging any A12, A14 or A15 will fit to replace the original. Anything else will require some modifications to lengthy to list. Best thing to do is look through the B210/210 build threads. Try our search function.

There are no '71 210s so it's obvious you haven't done any research for yourself. Your question is way too general and would require a novel length reply. Do some research and come back. Let me help.. type 210 SR20 SWAP into the search function and start reading
