BarryA Posted August 21, 2008 Report Share Posted August 21, 2008 I recently bought a 79 KC, and found that the quarter window seals are about the only rubber pieces on the truck that are NOT still available. Between Scott's Old Rubber in Australia, Too Intense Restorations, and various internet / e-Bay vendors, I've been able to find door seals, front and rear windshield seals, inner and outer door squeegees, door window track material, hood and tailgate bumpers, etc - mostly at pretty reasonable prices. As far as I can tell, the rockers as far back as the B pillar are the same as those for a standard pickup - if you need to repair rust in the rear secton of the body below the quarter windows, it's probably going to require having a shop fabricate some patch panels out of the appropriate gauge sheet steel.
