Justin Tawney Posted October 31, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 31, 2013 its not warped it broke when I was tryn to put it in I wasn't thinking and I put the rocker arms on then tried to tighten the cam towers down as the cam was in thinking as it tightens it will push the valve down. heard a snap though it was the threads and the cam was in two. but I have the new cam installed correctly and turns freely like its supposed to. Don't throw in the towel, just check off what they recommend and eventually you will find the root of your problem. It can't be stressed enough, if you didn't put a straight edge on that head and check it with a feeler gauge, it could be warped. Now's the time to make sure, before you put everthing back on.
