benrob
so i just put a top mount header and a t28 turbo on my sr20 s13 and my question now is do i have to tune/dyno the truck right away? i no that i should sooner than later ,but will the ecu change air/fuel ratios and all that jazz to make the motor run correctly? datzenmike
Run below boost until you find out for sure. Was this a turbo SR to begin with? Do you have the turbo SR ECU? A non turbo ECU won't likely handle this. More home work should have been done before going to all this bother. Quote Link to comment
benrob
yea stock it had the t 25 . so the ecu is for a turboed sr . iether way im goin to tune, it its weather i can drive it there or trailer it. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If you can start and it runs drive it. Just don't boost it on the way. At low moderate speeds it will act like a non turbo. That should be safe enough Quote Link to comment
