PureWhite
So I am still in the market for some door mounted side mirrors. I checked out some '66 Fod Mustang side mirrors but "Distance between center of mounting holes is 4.25" & I measured my mounting holes & I am coming back with 1 3/4". Does any one know if I measured correctly or know what the distance is supposed to be STOCK? Here is a photo of the mustang mirrors: Quote Link to comment
GRpufnstuf
Those mustang mirrors look like they'd fit my existing holes I'm away from my truck (can t measure) but 1.75" seems narrow for most mirrors. You could just make a new hole and cover the middle hole with the rubber pad of the new mirror. Use tape on the paint when you're drilling! Quote Link to comment

Yeah I thought about just covering them over with the rubber mounting pad just haven't had the heart to drill into my doors yet. I am sure that is what will be done though. Thanks for the reply!
