RickB
Hi, I have the older style (1973/4) 620 steering cover (aka clam shell) that has the ignition barrel mounted to the shell. How do I remove the barrel from the shell? Do I need a special tool? Quote Link to comment
darrel
needle nose pliers or my multi tool works for me. Quote Link to comment
RickB
So I'm putting something in those two holes in the ring and unscrewing it? Like a circlip plier or something? Quote Link to comment
RickB
Got it! Put two small screw drivers in those holes and gripped then in my pliers and unscrewed it. I just needed to use a little bit more force than I thought to unstick it. Thanks, glad I checked before I went full brute force on it! Quote Link to comment
