DentedSin Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 i have a 79 zx thats a 5 speed when i got the car the motor was knocking so i found a newer parts car for 350 with 109xxx its an 83 auto l28 na i swapped all the good parts all the interior stuff rims doors hatch hood motor diff ect i had to keep my gauges because i didnt have time to pull the entire harness long story short its i had everthing together but i left the flywheel spacer on and i have no idea how to remove it and cant find any info on how to do so. bananahamuck Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 So you just need the spacer off the end of the crank?? you should be able to take a sharp chisel and thump it VERY CAREFULLY !! in the crack between the crank and spacer ,, that should separate it enough to use screw driver to easily pry off.. Did i mention to do it carefully ,, they usually come off easier yours is just stuck,, they aren`t pressed on or anything but sometimes they are a real tight fit. Quote Link to comment
