max121 Posted March 29, 2013 Report Share Posted March 29, 2013 got a great deal on a 61 chevy pickup that was way too far gone to repair but it had a brand new chevy crate motor and a new dump bed. when we went to pick up the truck they also had a stripped 20ft rv trailer we bought with this project in mind. truck cab was saved shortend the trailer by 10ft and moved axles up removed original cross beams and welded new thicker pieces to support weight got the lift welded to the trailer and mounting the fenders looks like a trailer now just need to finish mounting fenders and wire it up and paint took me and my dad 3 days was alot of fun that welder rocks Quote Link to comment
