secret sponge Posted February 22, 2013 Report Share Posted February 22, 2013 I've recently became the owner of a ka24de out of a 2001 frontier, it came to me with several parts missing, but all I have left to get is the valve cover which I'm picking up this weekend, and an ecu that is turning out to be pesky to find. I hear rumors, and through several online searches it seems to all be speculation, so I'm wondering if anyone here knows for fact or fiction that the s14 ka24de ecu and the frontier ecu are interchangeable? And if so does the swap require repining, or is it a plug and go sort of thing? Quote Link to comment

secret sponge Posted February 26, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2013 The distributor setup looks the same, everything looks the same actually except the intake manifold. I look on eBay pretty regularly, but most frontiers were manufactured in the v6 variety. I hear about it swapping out, but till I hear someone say without a doubt, I'm going to keep searching for the frontier brain, no use wasting money on a hunch. Quote Link to comment
