DATSTON
I plan on ordering 4" lowering blocks and picking up some 4x4 720 leaf springs for my 74 datsun 620. would i need to notch my frame so nothing hits/rubs? Quote Link to comment
erichwaslike
most likely. i have a 521 with a flatened out pack and 3 inch blocks and ive got 1 inch of travel before i hit frame..... Quote Link to comment
DATSTON
got it thanks. im having trouble finding leaf springs from a 720. would i be fine with just 4" lowering blocks? i understand the 720 leafs are suppose to help lower it a bit and give it more stiffness. would i be too bouncy with a 4" drop without going with 4x4 720 leaf springs? found some toxis shocks also. would that help in any way? metalmonkey47
YES. With my 2'' blocks and 4x4 leafs I'm sitting about an inch above the axle. Quote Link to comment
