Settings for a Weber DCOE45-13?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a good starting point for setting up for a single Weber DCOE45-13, like jets/chokes on an L20B with peanut head and small cam? Lookimg for an ititial setup starting point to target for my truck... Got headers and open exhaust. This is my desert dirt truck. Just got the weber/cannon intake. Am rebuilding, but want to have it set close as possible for best tuning for the head setup. The head has been ported and polished too. New stock valves/springs though.

Yes we are not too bright.

The first thing about tuning a carb is knowing what RPM range you gonna run. A "small cam" suggests you want lower RPM than the stock cam, is that your intention?

For a maximum 5000 RPM with a 2-liter engine, start with 32mm chokes. Then going on the venturi size, the jets should be a percentage of the venturi size, so 135.

Low-RPM L20B

Choke size 32

Aux. venturi 4-5

Main jet 1-35

Emulsion tube F15

Air corrector jet 1-70

Idle jet 0-55 F2

Accel. pump jet 0-40

Accel. pump inlet valve with ex. orifice 0-55

Needle valve 2-00
