Korvus
I'm trying to get rid of my crap injection system on my 78 280z, and I'm wondering if older z intake manifolds fit the N42 head. I'm just looking to run an older stock carb setup, nothing high performance. (Meaning I'm trying to keep cost low and not replace anything more than I have to.) Quote Link to comment
Korvus
Bumping one's own post seems in bad form, but for all my searching I haven't found an answer anywhere and it's become time sensitive. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Pretty sure I have seem L28s with SUs on them. Bolt patterns are all the same. Port size may vary slightly but what's a grinder for??? right? Here ya go. 2 min. to find it ... http://pape.ws/allan_and_rosanne/Z-Car_Stuff/Bryan-Little/Datsun%20L6%20Performance%20Tips.htm About 1/6th of the way down under THIRD carburetion CARB INTAKE MANIFOLDS A 240/260 carb intake will bolt right up to any L28 head. The bolts are 8mmx1.25. Quote Link to comment
Korvus
Thank you. A lot. The harder you look the less you find I guess...Or I just suck at searching. Also, is there a "best" intake? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think earlier the better. Quote Link to comment
