The Dat-side
I've read if you cut Ford T-bird springs down to 9" the rate goes up to 900 Link to comment
The Dat-side
Nevermind. Looks like 10" and it's 675# http://www.datsuns.com/510/510_faq-1.htm#Spring%20alternatives Link to comment
NCLNDYM
Have a set of suspension techniques front springs, uncut. Can't find any info on the rates for them but have them if you interested. PM me Link to comment
O.D.D.
I have a set of SusTech Rears, a touch softer than 900#, but def harder than 675#.... they were on my 510 when I purchased it, and it sat snugly over its 15x6 rear tires, my local roads SUCK, so i made 1" spacers to get a little more height without going softer... If you want over 900 you need 2000 roadster FRONT springs for the rear, or a set of nissan COMP roadster fronts for like 1120# (if I remember right). Otherwise I dont know of any surefire spring-rate solutions. Dodge D-50 springs are reported to work, as are early 90z t-bird fronts... Supposedly - someone on Ebay is selling any rate and length you want... Coilovers and adj. perches up front and your spring hunting days there are over.... Link to comment
