Description - 1973 Datsun 510, 2 Door Sedan (Build date 11/72) – Project car - No reserve

The 1973 model was the last year for the PL510 Datsun. The 11/72 build date is near the end of production which makes this car somewhat rare. It includes a rear window defrost only available on the ’73 models in the US.

This is a Northeastern US project car and is not complete. The pictures show what is being offered. Mileage is unknown. It was last registered in 1994 in the state of Maine. It has its share of rust and will need floor, trunk and inner fender patches, the front fenders should be replaced and a dented tail light panel will need to be repaired, but the balance of the outer body panels are amazingly solid and straight. It is not running and cannot be driven as it is.

The quarter panels and rockers appear to have been replaced a number of years ago. They have no rust thru and were likely done with factory panels. The door shells are sound with some rust along the bottom of the door skin pinch seam but the inner shell bottoms are solid with just a little surface rust. All glass is in place and in good condition. The rear window defrost appears to be intact, but is untested.

The engine, drive line, brakes and suspension are complete, but will need a thorough going threw to be roadworthy. The exhaust system is complete from engine to tailpipe, its condition is unknown. The transmission shifts and holds the car in park. The engine turns over but is missing the radiator, coil, fuel tank and fuel pump to run. One set of 4 - 13” alloy wheels are included.

The interior has been removed. No keys are available. The only items remaining are the steering wheel/column, dash frame, brake pedal and automatic shift lever. Rear window latches and door window regulators are in place. All dash components and wiring have been removed.

The car is located in Dunbarton, NH. It is offered as is with no warrantees, implied or otherwise. Transfer of ownership will be made with a bill of sale per NH RSA 261:148, III. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. Assistance in loading can be provided.
