luck of the day

so it seems that my brake booster on my 76 z has gone kaput. i dont mind runnin without power brakes for a bit, makes things more fun, but i decided to take a look on my (very) slow project build of a 75 and see if i couldnt just cannibalize the booster off it for the time being. easy enough to locate but having both engine bays open and close to each other i started to notice more and more that there was a lotta stuff on the engine of the 75 that was missing on the 76. after puzzling over it for a while, i decided to start looking at block and head stamps. lo and behold, while my 76 was running a n42 block and head, my 75 that i got for 300 bucks has an f54 block and a p79 head:):):):). one less thing i need to look for when i get the money for my 3.1 stroker build up, and talk about a helluva surprise. neither of the 2 guys that owned it before me knew that it had that motor in it(i was there when my buddy bought it before i bought it off him). needless to say, my buddys kinda pissed now lol.
