MantisX620
Hi all, So I finally purchased a Weber 32/36 DGEV from Redline and so far its awesome! The problem im running into though is that my throttle cable doesnt seem to be pulling the secondary all the way open when the pedal is on the floor. Naturally I cant tighten the cable anymore, and ive tried different holes on the throttle kit that came with it. Is there a screw where I can adjust when the secondary opens? I verified this by putting an old cam on my gas pedal to hold it to the floor. Then I went under the hood and theres a good bit of travel left in the throttle linkage. Also, I wanted to try using the linkage hole the furthest from the throttle cable, but theres not enough cable to reach over it. Any ideas Ratsun? Thanks MantisX Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
most people use the stock linkage from the Hitachi carb and it should mate perfect on the threaded rod. and use the 12mm hex nut. Use the sstock cable. adjust the threaded jamnut . then hit the pedal.so hwomuch it opens. There is no real adjustment for the 2ndary for the weber. You can open the plate abit but that affects the idle. Quote Link to comment
MantisX620
Found out someone before me had the gas pedal stopper under the dash adjusted out quite a bit. Moved that back in some and used the outer hole on the linkage. Opens fully now. Neat how much power I was missing haha! Thanks MantisX Quote Link to comment
