CameronT
It was wierd but it happened, I lost all three bolts to my altenator bracket and I don't know the sizes to them or the length. Its the l20b 1977 so i don't know if there's a difference or what but here's my question. What are the length width and thread pattern to it? Thank you! Quote Link to comment

CameronT
They were tight and I would drive the freeway and here a loud boom under the truck and was like rocks, but no I checked and it's bolts Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
They are about inch and a half long and kinda small. Probably M10, 30mm long. for 1977, depends on if you have the 38A small diameter alternator or 50A large diameter one. 38A uses M8 bolts. Quote Link to comment
CameronT
This is harsh cause I have no bolts to go by either so lock tire is going in ASAP when I find them, but as far as altenator I don't know for sure the size of it I think it's a smaller one but my oil filter is a little smaller and those are even huge Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Go to your neighborhood auto parts or hardware store and get one M10 and one M8 (like 30 cents each) and try them to see which ones fit. Quote Link to comment
