EFI Hardline Fitting Advice

Recommended Posts

So I am about to start routing 3/8" line for my Z20E swap. My main issue is how to appropriately interface the rubber hose with the hardline.

Two options as I see it: 1. Flare the hardline 2. Get a compression fitting.

Any suggestions on a decently price tool?

On the second option I found some prospective adapters. The first adapter is part of a carburetor designed kit. Apparently the compression fitting itself is rated to 100psi but the size of the barb concerns me for holding on the hose: http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/159203/10002/-1?parentProductId=

The other style adapted uses a compression fitting to AN. But then then you would have to buy an AN to barb adapter. Twice as many parts:

Thanks
