Dad's first car in USofA was a Datsun 240z than 510 than a pickup, uncle owned a 280z and 300zx tt. I've grown up (damn 30 this year!) with datsun's around and want a 510 to be apart of my new family, and used as a daily cruiser to and from work... something i plan on keeping for as long as i can keep it in mint condition!!! I'm in San Jose ca, not looking for a real project, something that my fiance will say "oh its cute, and clean" and not complain when driving her around. Please email me with info price and pics, willing to go out of state...kinda of Looking to buy before summer starts...hoping for a 4door sedan... Currently own a 1989 240sx project autocross car previously owned: 1987 rx7 NA street-ported 1989 300zx turbo autocross 2005 bmx 5series 2002 honda accord 1999 honda civic 1995 toyota camry THanks!!! cns13 Posted May 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 @TE28 - Thanks, i wanted to know: 1 would it make the trip up to the bay or would i need to tow it back? 2 does it still have the passanger side belt harness?...my girl isnt cool with the harness, but i'll figure something out. 3 is that the original color? 4 could you get some more pics of the interior that needs work? 5 how is it on an early morning cold start? 6 the video made it sound a bit loud, is it pretty loud or is that my bad speakers? 7 last, how firm is your price? It should make it no it doesnt both seats are four point but the back seats have a regular lap belt no it isnt i believe the og color is like an almond brown but thts the way the 510 was bought (green) all tht needs work in the interior is the floor carpet and the headliner ohh and the dash i believe its cracked yes it should, and yes it is pretty loud make me an offer just dont ridiculously low balll me like veryone else who has been doing so Link to comment
MrsDude Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 I have a 1971 4-door 510 that I could sell you. It runs well and is tabbed and licensed in Washington. It has an L20B engine and the original 4 speed transmission. I have a 1978 Datsun 280ZX 5-speed that I could let go with it. I have a nice left front (driver's side) front fender since the one on it has an owie. I have Z wheels and the tires have less than 1000 miles on them. It has the original seats and needs cosmetic love. If you are interested, let me know. My email is innirvana@q.com. Yes it will make it to the Bay. Could use a tune up before you go...
