I race a 1200 in SCCA's HP class and i need to update the car to be competitive. I am looking for 240z front struts- complete from pivot ball to ball joint including spindles and brakes. Would also like to find a 5-speed dogleg with 1:1 5th gear. The trans # is F5C56A. Also an H165 rear axle-complete drum to drum(unless theres one around with discs). I live in Denver, CO so somewhere in that area would be nice too. Thanks for the help. Link to comment
ggzilla Posted May 9, 2012 Report Share Posted May 9, 2012 Transmission is rare, never sold in USA except by Nissan Competition. About once a year I see one on eBay or craigslist. H165, use a 510 wagon or A10 wagon rear axle and have it narrowed. There is no bolt-in H165, except again by Nissan Competition. Might I suggest using 280ZX struts? They have vented disks + the same kingpin angle as the 1200 struts, while the S30 struts have more positive camber. Link to comment
