datzenmike Posted April 25, 2012 Report Share Posted April 25, 2012 If a zx 5 speed wouldn't a longer cable like from a 620 work? If a dogleg it should fit. I used my stock short 4 speed cable on my 710 on the zx 5 speed which was over 5" longer and on the other side. Works just fine. Link to comment
510-Trevor Posted April 25, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2012 Its a roadster 5 speed. The problem with breaking cables is due to the location of the trans mount right below the speedo input. You need to kink the cable to get it in (that sounds dirty heh heh). Link to comment
