Ofeargall
Okay, I've got NOTHING against low profile tires that just peek out from the wheel arches on a well done lowering. But... I've always liked the look of the lowered rig with the negative offset rims (slightly narrow track) and a standard tire tucked up under the wheel arches. What I'm wondering, before I lower my rig, when I drop the truck a bit and have the steelies with stocker tires up in the fender a bit, how do I keep the front wheels from rubbing in a turn? Or, is the geometry such that the offset and arch don't rub in a turn after all? Anybody got this kind of look happening? Any advice? Thanks in advance for any constructive wisdom. Tristin
Well you have to make sure that the wheels/tires arent too large for your desired stance (which includes proper offset), when you drop a vehicle you naturally get negative camber so you may or may not want to correct that depending on how it sits, and you will probably want to roll and pull your fender lips. 1 Quote Link to comment
Ofeargall
Thanks Tristin! I'll probably just go 3" lower which will likely keep me from having to roll the fender lip. Quote Link to comment
