SRSANDS Posted April 30, 2008 Report Share Posted April 30, 2008 :confused:Today I made more steps on the wiring....headlights work, engine fires, ect. Still have a few missing relays though?????? And the worst thing about it is my resistor buy the coil fried for some reason. Can some body tell me how to wire this thing up! The spring didnt break....is it still ok the middle stuff broke though. Where does the little capacitor go? I am not sure how many connections are actually made at the posiive side of the coil. I hooked it up accoding to the diagram but I guess it was wrong. Please help me...... Quote Link to comment

I did this to my 69 VW some time ago. hahaha...it sucked Heres a pic of mine....I have the matchbox ignition. This is on a 521. You can see the Plus and Negative marks by the terminals.
