NCLNDYM
I just replaced the seal in my rear end (72 510). After a lengthy drive on the freeway, when i got home I have fluid leaking from the top breather tube. My tube sticking out looks like a small straw. When I had the cover off I flushed it with cleaner and all was good. Is the breather tube supposed to have a cap on it or something? Quote Link to comment

You can make the breather tube longer and loop it so the fluid doesn't come out.. or just leave it alone. Eventually all the excess fluid will come out there and it'll stop leaking. SpudWhitman
You could run the breather tube to a catch can if you prefer. Quote Link to comment
