readasneeded
Hi All This is my first 620 truck. As you all know, the parts on these things usually come to you worn out. I need to know if and where I can find them, leaf springs. The ones on the truck are dead and after hitting what I thought was going to be a little bump but was not on the freeway and being thrown into the roof of the cab I think replacing them is needed. So do I need to hunt down some springs from another 620 truck or is there a replacement being made somewhere? Thank you all for your comments. Ethan Quote Link to comment
motavated
replace shocks first? I dont think the leafs would be that bad unless they were tampered with... Quote Link to comment
motavated
There is I think a 620 in the santa fe springs yard you can harvest half off in october! Quote Link to comment
readasneeded
Thanks for the tip, I'll go there to see whats available. Someone, not sure which owner, did pull out one of the leafs from the set to lower it and they are junk now. Me thinks I should have paid less for the truck however the engine is mint and fast - not original though so mostly the repairs are either cosmetic or anything but the engine. Quote Link to comment
pharouh
Yeah I'd go with shocks too. 620's aren't known for their smooth ride. A speed bump will put you into the roof. Pictures too! Quote Link to comment
readasneeded
Smooth ride is NOT something that I have the luxury of right now. I'll post pix soon Quote Link to comment
