rodabaugh Posted September 21, 2011 Report Share Posted September 21, 2011 Mine is leaking really bad and of course its mounted to the alternator and it looks like oil is coming out of the alternator. Need to swap this pump quickly before i lose my alternator. I called Nissan they said no interchangable parts on this, it must be from an SD22. The link I posted was a search on the nissandiesel site for vacum pump in the sd22 720 forum. What it says, is that there are several common cars from the 80's that had 12v pumps, and retro fit is not to difficult. If Merlin has the pump, you should stay with the oe part if possible. I know of a rusted out running sd22 720 just south of ATL, the guy will not sell parts. I think you can get the complete truck for $500 if you are desperate. Link to comment
