primo74620
I have a 74' 620 and I think the electric choke is not working properly. I know the choke has a bi-metal coil that heats up. Now does the choke plate's lever that goes into the choke housing have to be with in the hook of the bi-metal or on the outside, Also does the choke plate close with a spring and not with the help of the bi-metal when cold? datsunaholic
The heater coil is the only thing that closes the choke. When it's hot it "relaxes" and more or less gravity opens it (plus airflow). The lever goes inside the hook. Quote Link to comment
