Evans Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 anyways i picked up another datsun a 72' 620 the one above is not it , anways i wanted if the exhaust mani off that l16 will bolt on my l20 with the l20 intake. i saw earlier today some one was taking abount putting the l16 intake but every one kinda shot him down Quote Link to comment

You don't want to go the other way around(round port ex. manifold over square ex. ports; it will leak). If the L20b intake is the style that doesn't attach to the ex manifold via the heat riser, it will work with the L16 manifold. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 If it is the heat riser, it's not for emissions -- it is to make the engine run good when cold. When the heat riser is working, you can start the engine and drive away immediately. It is used on exhaust manifolds that bolt to the intake. Quote Link to comment
