GIchiro
Does anyone have information on how to improve the shift forks on a 280zx manual trans (no-turbo). Trying to avoid a KA conversion but I like the robustness of the KA though and it seems the zx shift forks are in need of beefing up. Thanks, GI Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
How would improving the shift forks avoid an engine conversion? What sort of problem are you having with the shift forks? I have heard of a problem where at 5000 RPM full throttle it is difficult to shift the 71B transmission. In that case guys just fit a 71C transmission. Other guys just let up on the throttle a bit when shifting. Quote Link to comment
