jratt
Looking to replace the inner door and quarter window molding. This stuff is shaped in a U pattern, has metal running down the core of it and has a vinyl textured outer coating. It is the stuff that starts under your door jam kick plate and goes around the inside of the door frame covering all the spot welds.. I can't seem to find replacement stuff anywhere.. One autoparts guy suggested door bumper guard molding but the stuff is too thin and doesn't sit down low enough to cover the spot welds. Let me know if someone has come across a similar cut-to-fit.. maybe a Marine store for boat hatches? Thanks Jrat Quote Link to comment
zerow
I recommend nowhere else out there: http://www.jjautofabrics.com/ And they have a bunch of different colors, so you are not stuck to having just one color...black, white or brown... Quote Link to comment
RATDAT3
Take a sample to any upholstery shop and they can get it for you. Its called "Pinch Weld" Quote Link to comment
jratt
Thanks.. I'll look into it.. I believe that part of my problem was not having a good name/proper name to call it.. Quote Link to comment
