620 Exhaust manifolds.. Which is better?

I have an L18 with a L16 exhaust manifold. It is leaking where the butterfly flange is.. the flange on the downpipe is warped so it doesnt seal. I also have a manifold with a round flange instead of the butterfly flange...

should i:

 

A. buy a machined flange (here on ratsun) and have a shop weld the downpipes

 

or

 

B. use the manifold with a round flange

 

 

either way, i have to take it to a shop to do the welding... i just want to know which is a better way to go.

I'd say stick with the 4-2-1 manifold.

Mklotz sells the flanges.
