Radim
So i fixed one problem and weeks later after i did that this happens. I was on my way to sell some things and on the way there suddenly the truck would idle super low to the point where charge light would come on. Drive it a bit longer and it started backfiring, drove it a bit longer and it started stalling. Wasn't far from my house so i drove it home, backfiring stalling, and running super rich... 10-15 minutes later i got smelling like gas, i had to pump the gas to get it not to stall it kept stalling. at stops. I fiddled around with it and found if i put the choke on it of course would setlle the idle and cause it not stall, but if i take it off it will die, carb is a weber 32/36 If i hold the gas steady with my foot at anything lower 3k it revs fine but then suddenly tries to stall out.. What could cause it? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Sounds like a lean backfire, a jet is blocked or partly blocked. Quote Link to comment
