650savag Posted February 5, 2008 Report Share Posted February 5, 2008 I know he should convert to Weber but it's for my cousin and he is "Old School" and insists on another Hitachi for his 78, L20B. I know Lance has one but I don't know how new or how good it is. It's hard to find a rebuilt one on the internet or the parts places. Any ideas? Thanks, Dan Link to comment

650savag Posted February 6, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 I've been looking on Ebay and right now all I see is for the L15 or the smaller engines or the newer Z22 or Z24 (81-86). The DHC-340's are getting hard to come by but I'll keep looking. Lance Kilgore wrote me and said he has the one that he had converted from an L18 to his L20. I may buy that one and use it and sell my cousin the rebuilt DHC-340 that I am running on my truck. If it craps out, I'm wanting to go ahead and go to the weber soon anyway.
