gingg Posted February 17, 2011 Report Share Posted February 17, 2011 Bought 2 utes about a month ago.. then got given one 2 weeks after that for free, no motor or box and umm yeah, idea was to sell the orange one and fix the green one, pulled the green ones dash board out and it was rooten every where, so i pulled apart the orange one and found rust only on the back lip of the cab witch is 1000 times less rust free then the green one, thought the red one was all good, chucked a motor and box into it, and then was mucking around with it and noticed rust on the chassie... so yeah decided what to do, Swapped the motor out of the green ute and chucked it into the orange one, had no problem swapping the mounts over since the orginal motor was a front mount insteed of mid mount, and yeah swapped the seat into the orange one outa the green one, and stuff like that. i got heaps of spare parts from the guy i bought the two utes from, :) any way heres some photos, first photo is how the ute looks today as we speak Quote Link to comment
