710goonbuggy
I have a 76' 710 s/w. It has been 1.5 years and still have not had the carb.tuned correctly. Can someone please help me before the engine hurts itself, lol. There is #1 curb idle adjusting screw. air fuel mixture screw. how do i adjust them in order, and how many turns out? and when turning the screw is 180 degrees or 360 degrees a complete turn? izzo
complete turn is 360 degrees. According to weber, you should set your idle where you want it. pull the vacuum advance off afterwards. Turn in air/fuel mixture screw until the car starts dying, then a little more till its barely running. back the screw out until it clears up, once there, turn another half turn. finished. You will have to repeat this process if you re-adjust idle speed. so set it where you want it. you can do this by ear pretty easily Quote Link to comment
