Since its inception, Hillview has provided a safe haven for over 2,500 abused children. Gauge Magazine and Team Horton have come together to host an event to help the children staying at Hillview Acres. Please join us on Sunday Dec 5th to collect donations to help Hillview help these children ... The cost of show is a donation of item(s) from the wish list listed below Remember these children probably only have what they were allowed to grab when leaving their home, they want to be like everyone else at school. Current clothes, school supplies, shoes etc are all important to help make these children feel better about themselves and their situation. Expensive: Refrigerators - working condition Washers & dryers - working condition Furniture - Good condition Electronics - new or used - good condition Bikes - new or used Sporting Goods - new or used Affordable: School Supplies Canned Food - anything Cleaning Supplies - laundry soap, household supplies, dryer sheets Toiletries - shampoos, hair products (non-aerosol), toothpaste, toothbrushes Clothes - new or used in good condition Shoes - new or used in good condition Toys - new non violent Gift Cards - food places or movies Hillview is in need of basic every day items. intense 620 Posted November 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2010 that is totally understandable :) I just thought it would be nice to open this event up because I know a lot of the car clubs around here will be there but it would be nice to get my datsun buddies out too. intense 620 Posted November 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2010 I talked to Cheri from Gauge magazine last night and this is a Gauge magazine and Team Horton sponsored event. there will be Top 15 best of's trophies, the Anette memorial trophy, and club participation 1st and 2nd place. there will also be a trophy for the most can tabs by weight donated for the Ronald Mcdonald house. the trophies are being donated by All out fabrications and GO-EZ customs. i really hope to see some of you guys there!
