The Stig Posted November 7, 2010 Report Share Posted November 7, 2010 Yes the VG30 blocks are largely the same and the VG30 rwd trannys should bolt up, but the oilpans, manifolds, distributors, and all the brackets are really different, unless you have a RWD core that you can get that stuff off of, the maxima motors aren't good RWD swap motors, not worth the trouble, unless its the DOHC VE30 which only comes in FWD but also looks to be a modifed VG block casting and fits the 84-88 300ZX tranny but it still needs all new manifolds and major modifications to the coolant piping to go RWD.
