Datsun Parts Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 OK so I am finally ready to fire my KA24DE-(S14) in my 620 truck today....NOT...god damn cheap ebay billet fuel rail will not seal for shit. It leaks at the top of the injectors, who knows what will happen once I add power to them? I removed it, cleaned it, checked it, inspected it, changed the NEW O-rings, re-torqued it 4 or 5 times and same thing, 3 of the 4 leak BAD. I am worried it was poor machine work and the O-rings are just not making a tight enough fit. Anyone had this problem before who may be running a similar engine in a 510? I guess I may have to go back to a OEM fuel rail but that means new side feed injectors! Quote Link to comment
ggzilla Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 Sounds like it may have been desigined for a different injector type. The ones I've seen just snap over the injectors, there isn't much than can go wrong until the O-rings get brittle. Quote Link to comment
