Got a few questions 'bout my 720 #1 How do I remove the bottom layer of carpet stuff under the floor mat #2 What seats (preferably bench) would fit in my 81 720 standard cab #3 Is there a way to restore the surface of plastic dash pieces without having to take them off? Got a few cosmetic scratches and it just looks ugly. Thanks

Hi, once you remove the carpet, there will be carpet pad underneath. Depends on if its factory ( glued to the underside of the carpet ) or aftermarket ( glued down on floor then carpet glued on top ) you are gonna have to use a piant scraper and or a wire brush. Seats, check your local u-pick, they can tell you what years cross ref, but most of them that are in the same body type, I think 80 to 86, then they changed the body again. The dash, your local parts store will have a vinal repair kit with instructions for rips and holes, for scratches use some jewelers rouge---or mild abrassive equivalent.
