My 710 on the road

So I finally got my 710 to pass inspection!

I guess my old thread is gone? [edit: I found the old one]

Here's all I did to get it through:

had a new driver's side frame rail fabricated

new cheapo Meineke exhaust system

new brake master cylinder

rotors, calipers, pads, hard and soft lines (front)

drums, shoes, cylinders, hard and soft lines (rear)

struts, shocks and all new bushings

used datsun mesh 14" wheels I got off craigslist and some new tires

fuel filter and fuel lines

new plugs & plug wires

changed all the fluids

That's it so far. I've got a new pre-heater hose coming in tomorrow. It runs fine without it once it warms up. I took it on the highway today and got it up to 75 mph and it felt great! I guess I'm all set to drive it to the Japanese car show in MA next weekend.

It still needs paint, but I should be able to touch up some of the crappier parts before the show and just show it as-is. Probably paint won't be in the budget until the fall or maybe next year.

Here's what it looks like, in case no one remembers:

I'm also hoping to fix the radio, but I guess I can drive in silence for a while.

Hope to see some of you guys on the road!
