thank you dave that does help the owner before me just slammed a bunch of 20amp fuses arcoss the board and I just knew that was not right I replaced them all with 15's but i am knocking a couple of them down to the required amount NOW........thanks again Dave

BUT what do they go to ?????

I know the bottom right one is the marker lights cause that is what melted

As far as a replacement ....it may not be the factory original equipment but i am putting a blade fuse panel in its place...

just wanted to know what each of those went to .........

from top right and counterclockwise...

park/tail light 10 amp, headlamp 15 amp, horn/stop/hazard 15amp, meter/reverse/regulator 10 amp, wiper/washer/heater 15 amp, and solenoid on the top left 10 amp.

The 3 on the left are keyed power and the 3 on the right are constant power.

Hope this helps.

I fixed a bunch of crap on my brothers truck and gave him a factory wiring diagram (olddatsun site in the FAQ on here), a diagram of the fuse block, and a diagram of the hot start relay (Hainz I think drew one out and theres pics on here). With those three I can trouble shoot the entire rig with a testlight.

BTW, once you melt the marker light fuse it'll just keep doing that until you fix the actual problem. Typically it's the front park/turn light wiring where it passes through the lower inner fender to go under the core support- there's a grommet in the inner fender that rots out due to road spray (or battery acid on the pass. side) and then the wires rub on the metal, causing an intermittent short.

this is true

I was just going to do the carrier bearing

ended up replacing 10 bolts and couple cv joints

but that is the curse of owning and restoring a classic

a buddy of mine told me that with a new car you make car payments

but with an older car you just plan on puttinf the payment in to the car just as a repair bill / upgrade bill

every month
